These Terms and Conditions apply to purchases made through DesignsByDakster.com. By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.
Handmade Products
Designs by Dakster products are individually handmade. Small variations in color, shimmer, finish, pattern placement, size, and minor surface details are normal and make each item unique. These variations are not considered defects.
Product colors may also appear slightly different depending on lighting, photography, and screen settings.
Product Use and Safety
Our dragons, habitats, trinkets, and accessories are decorative collectibles. They are not toys and are not intended for young children.
Some products contain small parts, magnets, glass, resin, moss, or other materials that may create choking, breakage, or injury hazards. Keep products away from small children and pets.
Do not place products in your mouth or use them with food. Customers are responsible for using and displaying products safely.
Custom Orders
Customers are responsible for reviewing all finish, color, habitat, and customization choices before submitting an order.
We may send a completion photograph of a custom dragon before shipping. Customers will have 48 hours to approve the dragon or request one reasonable adjustment that remains within the selections and instructions included in the original order.
Requests that substantially change the original design may require an additional charge. Photo approval does not provide an opportunity to cancel or completely redesign the order.
If we do not receive a response within 48 hours, the custom dragon will be considered approved and shipped as shown.
Pricing and Payment
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars. Applicable shipping charges and sales tax are added during checkout.
Payment must be completed before an order enters production or ships. We reserve the right to correct accidental pricing, description, or availability errors. If an error affects an order, we will contact the customer before proceeding.
Order Cancellations
Ready-to-adopt orders may only be canceled before shipment.
Custom orders may only be canceled before production begins. Once materials have been prepared or production has started, the order becomes final.
Submitting a cancellation request does not guarantee that the order can be canceled.
Final-Sale Policy
All dragon adoptions, custom products, habitats, and accessories are final sale. We do not accept returns or exchanges because of changes of mind, color preferences, handmade variations, or other non-damage reasons.
Orders that arrive damaged are handled according to our Refund and Returns Policy.
Shipping and Delivery
Processing and estimated delivery times are not guaranteed. Custom products may require additional production time.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. Additional shipping charges caused by an incorrect or incomplete address may be the customer’s responsibility.
Once a package has been accepted by the shipping carrier, delivery delays are outside our direct control. Please use the Contact Us page if an order appears lost or significantly delayed so we can review the tracking information and available options.
Shipping Damage
Damage must be reported within three days of delivery. The customer must provide the order number and clear photographs of the damaged item, shipping box, interior packaging, and any visible exterior damage.
The item and packaging must be kept until the claim is resolved. Depending on the circumstances and availability, we may offer a repair, replacement, or refund.
Damage reported after three days or without the requested documentation may not qualify for assistance.
Intellectual Property
The Designs by Dakster name, original product designs, photographs, written content, graphics, and website materials may not be copied, reproduced, resold, or used commercially without permission.
Purchasing a product does not transfer ownership of its design, photography, or other intellectual property.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Designs by Dakster is not responsible for indirect or incidental losses resulting from the misuse, alteration, improper storage, or unsafe handling of a product.
Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
Privacy
Personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy. Payment information is processed through third-party payment providers and is subject to their applicable policies.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions when our products, services, or legal requirements change. The updated date at the top of this page indicates the most recent revision.
